Sushi Bento Box
7/18/2019 5:30 pm–7:30 pm
In this workshop our chef will show you the secrets to making artful sushi creations at home. Channeling the playfulness of bento box lunches, you’ll learn how to use the Vegetable Sheet Cutter attachment powered by your KitchenAid Stand Mixer to create unique home-style creations from zucchini-wrapped maki rolls to flower cut-outs for round, temari-style sushi.
We’ll use sushi-grade sustainable fish from our community partner Sitka Salmon Shares as the base of our customized bites. We’ll have suggested recipes, but you’ll get to let your creativity go wild in making your own artful sushi dinner.
