In partnership with Benchmark Hospitality, the World of Whirlpool has named Benjamin Burnside to the role of Executive Chef  “It is with pleasure that I announce the promotion of Ben Burnside to Executive Chef,” said Ken Jesina, Benchmark’s general manager for the facility. “His passion for cooking, as well as his years of increasing responsibility and refinement at multiple Michelin rated restaurants make him the perfect leader for our culinary team.” Ben started helping cook family dinners with his mom, a professional chef, at age four. He is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Ben has over ten years of culinary experience, starting from line cook through Sous Chef, including stints at Two Star Michelin rated Sixteen at Trump International Hotel in Chicago and Three Star Michelin rated Benu, in San Francisco.
